1. Use of Service
BibCite provides a free, account-less citation tool. By using this site, you acknowledge that your data is stored locally in your browser and will be lost if you clear your browser cache without exporting a backup.
2. Accuracy & Citation Responsibility
Citations are generated algorithmically. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of references against official style guides (APA, MLA, etc.) before academic submission.
3. PDF Uploads
The PDF extraction feature is provided for convenience. You grant us a temporary license to process the document in-memory for extraction purposes. We do not retain ownership or copies of your files.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not attempt to scrape our metadata APIs or reverse-engineer the citation engine for commercial mass-exploitation.
5. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding uptime or 100% accuracy of third-party metadata.
